The Galveston Blanket is a celebration of freedom, gathering, and the enduring beauty of Black American heritage.

Named for Galveston, Texas the place where news of emancipation finally reached enslaved people in Texas on June 19, 1865 the blanket honors the history that gave rise to Juneteenth and the generations who transformed freedom into tradition, family, celebration, and community.

Designed as both a functional heirloom and a statement piece, the Galveston Blanket brings the Bee Blunt point of view into the home: history made beautiful, meaningful, and part of everyday life.
